لقد تم انشاء مقر ملتقي الراكوبة السوداني، وهو مجموعة خيرية غير سياسية، ولا تسمح بممارسة الانشطة والنقاشات السياسية داخل مقرها.
وهي غير موازية للجالية السودانية أو منظمة خيرية سودانية بمدينة قلاسقو، ولا تسعى لتحقيق مكاسب مادية وتستند في عملها على العمل الطوعي والمساهمات الذاتية لأعضائها.
وتهدف لتقديم الخدمات الاجتماعية والثقافية والترفيهية لجميع السودانيين المتواجدين في مدينة قلاسقو بتنوعهم العرقي والقبلي والاثني.

📋 شروط العضوية
- العضوية هي حق لجميع السودانيين في مدينة قلاسقو.
- تقبل العضوية للمتقدمين من سن 18 سنة (إناث وذكور).
- يقدم طلب العضوية إلى اللجنة التنفيذية موقعاً عليه من العضو متضمناً عنوانه ورقم هاتفه البريطاني.
- الالتزام بدفع الاشتراك الشهري.
- عدم ممارسة العنصرية، والتنمر بشتي الوانهم وأنواعهم داخل مقر ملتقي الراكوبة.
- عدم ممارسة الانشطة السياسية وعدم طرح النقاشات السياسية داخل مقر ملتقي الراكوبة.
📅 البرامج و الأنشطة المقترحة
لم يتحدد بعد موعد تواريخ الفعاليات للفترة القادمة وسيتم الاعلان عنها فور انتهاء تهيئة المقر.
📚 البرامج التعليمية والثقافية
- مدرسة لتعليم اللغة العربية والتربية الاسلامية – فصلين سعة 30 طالب كبداية.
- الاحتفال بالمناسبات حسب تواريخها على مدار السنة، خاصة الاعياد.
- فصول توعوية، تعليمية، تثقيفية اسبوعية لابنائنا في سن المراهقة، خاصة الوافدين من غير عوائلهم.
- ملتقيات ثقافية شهرية تهتم بكتابة القصص والشعر للكبار.
- ملتقيات نصف شهرية ثقافية خاصة بالأطفال (بنات وبنيين) دون 17 سنة – تعليم الفنون (كتابة القصة والشعر، الرسم، الموسيقى).
⚽ الأنشطة الرياضية
- تمارين تدريبية في كرة القدم، السلة، الطائرة وتنس الطاولة للفئات السنية "بنات وبنين" يوم في عطلة الاسبوع:
- • دون 10 سنوات
- • دون 15 سنة
- • دون 21 سنة
- دورات رياضية ربع سنوية "اسبوع رياضي" – كرة قدم، سلة، طائرة وتنس طاولة – بما يتوافق مع العطل والاجازات الحكومية.
👩 الملتقيات النسائية
- ملتقيات نسائية خالصة – يومان "عطلة نهاية الاسبوع مع اوقات المدرسة" اسبوعياً.

To the Sudanese brothers and sisters residing in Glasgow.
The Al-Rakoba Sudanese Forum has established its premises. It is a non-political charitable group and does not permit political activities or discussions within its premises.
It is not affiliated with or parallel to any other Sudanese community or charitable organisation in Glasgow. It seeks no material gain and operates on the basis of voluntary work and members' own contributions.
It aims to provide social, cultural, and recreational services to all Sudanese individuals in Glasgow, regardless of their ethnic, tribal, or cultural backgrounds.

📋 Membership Requirements
- Membership is a right for all Sudanese people in Glasgow.
- Membership is open to applicants aged 18 and over (males and females).
- Membership applications must be submitted to the executive committee, signed by the applicant, including their address and UK telephone number.
- Commitment to paying the monthly subscription.
- No racism or bullying of any kind is permitted within the Al-Rakoba Forum premises.
- No political activities or political discussions are permitted within the Al-Rakoba Forum premises.

Dates for upcoming events have not yet been confirmed and will be announced once the venue is ready.
📚 Educational & Cultural Programmes
- School for teaching Arabic language and Islamic education – two classes with capacity for 30 students to start.
- Celebrating occasions throughout the year, especially religious holidays.
- Weekly awareness, educational, and cultural sessions for our teenagers, especially those arriving without their families.
- Monthly cultural gatherings focused on storytelling and poetry for adults.
- Fortnightly cultural gatherings for children (boys and girls) under 17 – teaching arts (story writing, poetry, drawing, music).
⚽ Sports Activities
- Training sessions in football, basketball, volleyball, and table tennis for age groups – one day per weekend:
- • Under 10 years
- • Under 15 years
- • Under 21 years
- Quarterly sports courses "Sports Week" – football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis – aligned with public holidays and school breaks.
👩 Women's Gatherings
- Women-only gatherings – two days per week (weekend during school hours).
